I wasn’t going to buy it until I had trouble with some coworkers, my boss told me that I needed to develop my Emotional Intelligence and I was like WTF. I didn’t understand what she meant so I went back to this book. It explains it all well and I kinda get why people think I lacked of this intelligence. People tell you to put in their shoes; it might sound silly but is super hard. Especially because you have to assume a lot of things of others to try and think how would they feel. Before reading this book I described myself as blunt, but now I know I have to work on a lot of stuff in my communication.
