Peter Schaeffer is Professor of Economic Policy at West Virginia University and served as a director of the Division of Resource Management, which incorporates the Division of Agricultural and Resource Economics, from 1993 to 2006. He was a visiting professor of regional and environmental economics on the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, and a visiting scholar on the International Labour Organization in Geneva.
